I am trying to make oblique cone to roll on flat surface or opposite that flat surface rolls on cone. I have found solution for right cone to role on surface or inside another bigger cone here: http://kmoddl.library.cornell.edu/download_resource.php?id=1935 But this method uses gear mate and fixed angle and this is not true in oblique's cone situation. I have tried another approach using path mates, but it is quite complex equations involved and it is hard to find them and in that case the length of the equation for the path of arc center is enormous length... and it stops plotting the curve. How to achieve this? I am stuck with it almost 2 weeks now...
