I have been wondering this for years but have finally gotten around to posting the question:

Why to my drawings objects, let's say for example a diameter dimension, seemingly "snapping" to different spots on the sheet as opposed to having "infinite mobility"?  I have tried for the past 20 minutes playing around with the document and system snap options to no avail.  It's like the dimensions want to automatically line themselves up with other things on the 2D drawing...other dimensions, centerlines, ect.  Can't wait to "solve" this one.  Thanks.
