I originally osted this in the performance category before Inoticed this is a more suitable catergory.

I just purchased a new system with Vista 64/ 6GB memory/quad coreCPU. The motherboard has integral video. SW2009 SP3.0 works fine.However, I installed my Nvidia Quadro FX1700 with the latest driverdownloaded from Nvidia and SW was performing very poorly and withvideo problems. Some symptoms:
1. tip callouts would not be visible; the outline of the tipcallout could be faintly seen but no content was visible
2.Sw would lock up and crash.
3. movement of parts in window was terribly slow and inconsistent.
4. Switching between windows (not just SW) would stall the machineand lock it up for a period of time.

I removed the Nvidia and went back to the integral video and SW isnow working fine, as is the entire system.

I am using Norten Security 2009 and a space traveller 3Dcontroller. Any ideas/suggestions- I would sure like to use thiscard which was working just fine in my earlier computer (so it isnot the Nvidia card).?
