Hi Everyone.

Im encountering this very odd situation where the note will not snap/select the component.

Normally the cursor will change to the edge selection filter when i hover over a component.

certain parts in this drawing view just will not select.

things i have tried:

restarted Solidworks

restarted computer.

i have zoomed in super close

made sure no selection filters are active.

ive made sure all items are resolved and not lightweight.

the extra odd thing is that this doesn't happen all the time. only on a few components.

some other components "Select" floating in space!!

DOESNT MAKE SENSE!!!!
