When I edit a drawing note in Solidworks 2026 SP 3.2, I double click the note to begin editing. The text box appears and all of the note text is highlighted. If I hit backspace all text is deleted as you would expect since it's all highlighted.... now this is where it gets funny.
If I click somewhere amongst the text, the cursor appears where you would expect, but the entirety of the text block remains highlighted.
If I enter a letter or use the delete key the action is what you would hope for... the text is inserted or only a single character is affected as opposed to overwriting the whole block and then the highlight is removed. I realize this is a minor issue, but I'm always afraid the the whole block will be affected because it remains highlighted until I make an action. Ideally the text would no longer be highlighted after I click the text to place the cursor in a particular location.
I'm running windows 10 still, so I'm curious if this functions the same way for people who are up to date with Windows 11.
