Nonlinear Simulation For Overmolded Part

As the title states, I'm trying to analyze elastic and plastic deformation in an assembly that has plastic overmolded over a metal pin. The simulation runs and seems to finish, but the iteration step stays on 1. The plastic's material I have set to Plasticity-Von Mises with a custom stress-strain curve. The metal pin I have kept as Linear Isentropic. I added mates to the assembly and set up a Bonded Global interaction between the two. I added a fixed geometry to the bottom face of the plastic and added 75N forces (Curve time variation, loading-unloading) to each pin shoulder as shown in the photo below. I have adjusted the mesh size and turned "Large Displacement" and strain on and off, but still get the warning that incremental plastic strain is too large. Do I need to add another component interaction?
