Hi team,

I was approached a few weeks ago by a gentlemen working with a startup who is attempting to disrupt the 3D mouse market. He was very excited about the possibility to enhance interaction with 3D tools such as SOLIDWORKS by providing 3D interaction with a single optical mouse (vs. mouse + 3d connexion). What's legitimate here is that the scientist behind this is the guy with the original optical mouse patent.

I wasn't sure who to direct him to, but I'm thinking somoene here is interested in examining early-stage innovations such as this and perhaps engaging in some sort of development partnership. If this technology ends up proving out, it would give us a powerful differentiator if we were exclusive 3D CAD partners.
