The new progress bar is a great new tool in troubleshooting the performance of large assemblies, but I do not see it appearing when opening drawings.

What about saving all the events that occur during the opening time in a log, that could be parsed by the user for better understanding on what happens during the opening time?

Right now, these feedback is just a tease, since it cannot be captured.

Would be be extremely beneficial to have a check box on the open dialog called SAVE LOG. If it is checked, all these prompts and their time stamps would be saved in a text file.

Imagine how much easier the troubleshooting of large assemblies would be.

Please give us the same functionality for drawings.
