Had a quick flick through the Whats New there.

Immediate impression, honestly, a bit disappointing. Nothing really jumps out as a killer new feature for the product designer. No new modelling tools, a few tweaks to sketching. STILL no Catia v5 import export (this one is getting silly...I have this feature in two other apps we use, both a fraction of the cost of SolidWorks, both using the Spatial InterOp Catia).

A bigger question though is the dropping of backwards compatibility as discussed on Twitter earlier in the week.

I'm seeing nothing in that Whats New that explains why this change has been made. So why?
