I put in a request to my supervisor for a RAM upgrade which brought up the discussion for an OS upgrade. When we decided that the price wasn't quite worth the it, we decided to just upgrade the whole enchilada. I am looking for a decent system that isn't quite a super computer. I don't do any FEA or animation or anything like that, just large assemblies. Can anyone make any recommendations as to what system I should go with? Thanks.
