Hello,
Coming back to SolidWorks but new to 3DExperience. I'm making a revision to a lower level component, have created new revision (C.1), set maturity to Frozen, saved to 3DX. If I search for in 3DSpace, it's there.
Opened top level assy, revved it up (D.1), r-click component in tree, replaced by revision, now C.1 shows as current. Set maturity to Frozen, saved to 3DX.
[Edit: I have moved top level assy back to In Work while trying to troubleshoot, same results]
Now, if I shut down everything, restart computer, starting with a blank slate. If I open the new rev top level assy (D.1), the new rev component (C.1) correctly displays in the tree.
However, if I look at child/parent relationships, anywhere through 3DX (bookmark editor; 3DSpace > Common Space; or even the MySession tab in SolidWorks) it still shows the old component rev associated to the new assy rev. If I look at the components, C.1 has no parents, but B.1 has the top level assy as a parent. If I look at new rev assy, it has the old component rev as a child.
Any help? Seems odd to me that it loads the desired new rev into the tree but nowhere on the 3DX platform.
Thanks!
