My derived configurations appear in a different order from the design table even though I have the setting checked to show configurations in the same order as the design table.
Background:
I'm working with an assembly that has a lot of total configurations due to different combinations of features and positions:
- Three different possibilities for the mounting base
- Left or Right handed
- Nine different combinations of mates to put the parts in the right orientation
To keep these 54 configurations manageable, I'm using a design table and nesting the 8 of the 9 different orientations to a lower level of the hierarchy. This makes 6 parent configurations, and each one has 8 child configurations.
I know about the control to sort the configurations by how they appear in the design table, but that seems to only work for the top level of the hierarchy. Is this a bug, or is there another control for that I don't know about?
