hi all

quite new to this whole surface modeling, i was wondering if anyone could help me/ guide me to model something like this?

do i use a surface loft or surface boundary to get the rough shape?

am i heading the right direction ? using a 3d sketch of the edge of the product + a right sectional sketch to create a loft/boundary?
