I have a large block with small pins coming out from one face.

When I attempt to apply a seperate mesh control on the small pins, it gives me a warning that it is already defined by another control and the finer of the two will be used.

Based on advice given to others, I thought I could select the faces of the large block and apply a loose mesh, then select the faces of the pins and apply a tight mesh.

Is this possible or am I mistaken? Is there a way to force a tighter mesh on the pins?
