I'm an IT tech at a University where we have a member of staff who has a 100 user SolidWorks 2013 license.  They have recently upgraded to SolidWorks 2014, and asked for my assistance with the licensing.  The 2013 license was held on a Windows 2003 server, which is not a supported OS for SolidWorks 2014 License server.  I therefore need to change to a different server which is 2008 or greater.

We already have another 2008R2 server hosting a totally different license of SolidWorks 2014 for another department.  So I was going to activate another instance, using another port to differentiate.  I was told that it was not possible to host 2 separate licenses for the same product on the same server.  Is this the case?

I was under the impression that I could host one license on 25734@servername and another on say 25735@servername, and that both could be used by selecting the different ports at installation?
