My company designs numerous weldments, and there has been a desire to have the ability for multiple configurations of one weldment to be depicted in a drawing's Cut List BOM. Currently it is only possible to display multiple configurations in an Assembly BOM to show differences in quantities of line items. The only way we know how to do this in a Weldment BOM is to manually insert additional columns and manually input item quantities. How difficult would it be to add this functionality to SolidWorks 2014?
