I am remodelling one of our companies products at the minute and I would like to use the same part in 4 different assemblies. These assemblies need to control the height and whether holes appear and their position. Ideally I'd like a single part that, if any future changes are made, these changes appear in all assemblies. Bear in mind these assemblies are all top down and each controls the same dimensions but for different layouts and sub assemblies. I hope this makes sense!
