i am baffled! ms visual basic will not recognize solidworks on my machine. i can open a macro from solidworks and it opens fine but that is when it all stops. i can not run the macro, when i select the "view solidworks" button nothing happens, when i select file > close and return to solidworks all it does in close ms visual basic.
i have the following references checked and none of them have missing errors and seem to be loaded in fine. i have deselected them, clicked ok, opened the references option again and rechecked them, no change.
- visual basic for applications
- solidworks extensibility type library
- ole automation
- sldworks 2010 type library
- solidworks 2010 constant type library
i have gone as far as reinstalling solidworks and running it in sp0 but had the same results. i am 100% sure it is a ms visual basic & solidworks problem, not a macro problem because it works on other machines at our company, just not mine.
i am running solidworks 2010 sp2.1 on windows 7 64bit. anyone have any ideas!
