Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and fairly new to SW. I am a recent college graduate and am working in a molding company. I was recently given a project to separate the mold from the sprue. I was just brainstorming different ideas and i got into drawing a simple assembly in SW( which i somehow managed). Then drifted to motion study which is a completely different and exciting world.

So, my question (or problem is), i want to simulate two parts falling down in a certain time interval in between each other. They fall into a bucket that has a lid controlled by a stepper that opens according to the time the parts fall in. The sprue has to go to one side of the bin and the mold to the other. I want to simulate this rough idea with the bin and see if it might work.

Like i said, i am very new to SW and any video websites are blocked at work. I would appreciate any help from the SW community in learning how to do this.
