I currently run SOLIDWORKS using 3 Dell U2415M Monitors which have an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 1900 x 1200.
I have been considering getting one of the Dell 27" monitors for my main screen, keeping 2 of the 24" monitors on either side however I noticed all of the Dell 27" Monitors have an aspect ration of 16:9 instead of 16:10. This means the monitors are no bigger in height than the 24" monitors, only wider.
Does anyone use one of these? I am curious what the gain would be if its the same heigh, only wider. Seems like they would be good for movies but not cad.
Also, does anyone happen to use another brand monitor doe SOLIDWORKS that 27" having an aspect ration better suited for cad such as the 16:10.
