Hi All -

I have question regarding imported parts - and best practice or ways to essentially rebuild a part history from an IGES file I have obtained from a client.

I have a bottle design that needs some curvature modified. Unfortunately I don't have native SW files and only IGES - and the bottle has some complexities (surface profiles - not just a standard extrusion or revolve profile)

I have had limited experience with Imported Geometry. Is there an easy way to rebuild this bottle and then modify the necessary areas?

I have tried feature recognition and this fails on me.

Since the file was created likely using surfaces and lofts does this mean I will basically have to rebuild the file?

If anyone has any examples of using imported geometry and rebuilding to have a history associated with it - I would appreciate the insight.
