When I'm working in medium sized assemblies (~100 components), I'm noticing that when ever I move a component, Solidworks hangs for a few seconds.  Is this normal for everyone?

I can move a part around with the mouse no problem, but as soon as I let go of the LMB, Solidworks sits there frozen for a moment.  I can't figure out the cause. 

Turning EPDM off does not make a difference.

Deleting all patterns/mirrors does not make a difference.

Deleting all the mates does not make a difference.

Fixing all components except the one I am moving does not make a difference.

Hang is the same for moving a subassembly and a washer.

Turning graphics all the way down does not make a difference.

This also occurs when mating components.  After the part moves into position, it hangs for ~3 seconds.  Adds up to a lot of time.

In larger assemblies the hang can be 10 or 20 seconds.

Any ideas???
