Hi ,

I am new to solidworks but am pushed for time. I have knowledge of proE so I kind of understand the basics, yet I am having a few difficulties.

I have 3 Iges files I need to extrude onto and later assemble. As they are imported I have no planes or axes, so how do I create these, when I use a surface as a reference it wont let me do anything. Is editing of an iges model possible? all the models are of uneven curved and complex shapes, how feasible is this? I hoped to be able to use proE but the files do not open correctly.
