I am doing some work with custom materials in SolidWorks Thermal Studies. I am doing some transient studies as this material is heated up from a constant heat flux. I am wondering if there is anyway to model the material actually changing phases (from a solid to a liquid) in SolidWorks. I haven't been able to find anywhere to submit data on melting points or latent heat of fusion. I am not wanting any information other than the time it takes to go from a solid block to a block of liquid (assuming no dimension changes) at steady state. Anybody have any suggestions?
