Modeling a beam camber to have 2 configs - 1 before cambering and 1 after?

Good afternoon all,

I'm unsure of the best way to model a simple beam with 2 configs to show it on a drawing before and after it is cambered.  I'm putting this under "sheet metal" category but perhaps it should be under "parts" or "configurations".  My company gets work pretty frequently with cambered beams which are normally detailed by a Tekla-enabled outfit.  in the event I would have to make a quick shop drawing, I would like to know the method to accomplish.  Here's the scenario and I'm hoping there is a simple solution from you experts.  Take a W14x90 beam which in the flat (uncambered state) is 53'-7 1/4" and has a 3-1/2" rise at the midpoint (see pdf attached).  After camber, the beam is still the same length along the centerline of course. I sketched an arc at the above dims and then used the structural member feature to show the cambered beam.  The trick is somehow getting this part into a flat state prior to cambering under a different config that I can toggle back and forth from.  I tried "convert to steel" but this is a weird situation that I doubt can work.  I can sketch an arc and use the base flange feature under sheet metal (and giving it .0001 thickness) to resemble the centerline flattening out but this isn't what I want.  I need to show the beam itself in 2 configs sorta like below:

I'm attaching both part files not being sure which is the best approach to use and from which one.  Thanks in advance for your ideas!

Dave
