I work for a sheet metal fabrication company, and we're looking at ways to trim down model alterations to flatform drawings.

We use dwg files through autocad not draftsight for manufacture.

Is there a way to alter the sheet metal model, but skip the SLDDRW file (possibly using the SLDDRW as hidden silent partner) which can then automatically update the dwg including all dimensions and labels?.

So, as follows...

Altered model parts>>> Manufacture/Fold dwg, including information.>>> Production.
