Once in awhile I have to use a mitered bend (see .png attached)
Now the easiest way I could think of to create one is by means of weldments. Well this is all good and well for a couple it is hardly suitable for a route of ±24m that needs 10 of them. Afterall, when using weldments one doesn't have the advantages of the routing add-in and have to construct a PRT instead of an ASM. A PRT with a whole less flexibility concerning size and parts used (flanges - nipples - socks - regular elbows - etc.)
My question is does anyone have a way to actually draw and use miter bends in routing or not.
I had thought about making a miter bend part but the problem with that is that the angle isn't a set angle but differs widely from one to the other. There for the angle of the miter bend would have to be dynamically adjustable to the situation at hand instead of the miter bend dictating what the angle should be.
Looking forward to any and all suggestions.
