Hi guys, I have a part that I need to mirror (opposite hand) and then modify. When in the assembly, I have used the mirror feature with the advanced opposite hand option, then isolated, then renamed to modify. Once I open the newly created mirror part file, all I get is solid bodies in the design tree.

I have also tried the suggestions given here https://forum.solidworks.com/message/187029?sr=search&searchId=f9f10210-0c1d-469e-b409-4e162498ff6d&searchIndex=4#187029 , as it closely applies to what I am trying to accomplish. Is there a way to retain all the design tree features, to be able to create a detailed drawing? I have searched thru the discussion boards & found no good work around.
