If a lofted cut is made in a part with separates it into 2 or more bodies (Figure 2) and then that lofted cut is mirrored (Figure 4), which again separates the part into 2 or more bodies (Figure 5), then which of the final bodies is keep can't be chosen. SolidWorks will keep one, delete the rest, and not give the user a say in which one it chooses. Am I missing something or is this a problem with SolidWorks? An example file is attached below.

I am running: SolidWorks 2017 SP2.0, Windows 10, on a laptop, 8GB ram, HD Graphics 530 Graphics card, Intel Core i7-6700HQ CPU, with a know SolidWorks - graphics card incompatibility.
