I think this would be a mess unless you guys have better way to handle this problem

I have thousands of parts/drawings and hundreds of assemblies with diff. rev -  each part/drawing/assbly  file name has an underscore and rev. letter at the end -  ex. bracket_A

If I move all of these files to Vault, I have to remove the letter at the end otherwise, I'm going to add a new part/assembly/dwg  to Vault each time I change rev.  My question is

1) Is there a way to remove the undercore and rev. letter automatically

2) I guess, when you add a new file to Vautl, it's assigned a rev. "A" - how to add these files to Vault with the current rev.
