In large assemblies I've found it takes a long time to place fasteners. After it automatically targets and finds the hole for the auto double mate feature, the fastener loads in and each one takes 5-10 seconds to load (screen freezes and load symbol comes up). I know there is the linear pattern option but that can also take time when various areas require the same fastener and its not worth selecting that option. Is there a macro that could take the input locations and then after selecting all hole locations/areas complete the loading of the component all at once? I think this would take less time as the processing would all complete at once and the waiting would just stack all together sort of like the linear pattern. The other issue with linear patterning is I cannot put a linear pattern feature in the same folder with other hardware items which causes a process flow issue. I think this macro would speed up my process and I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this
