We have recently brought our sheet metal fabrication in house.  We have purchased a waterjet and a brake and have been starting to convert our designs into SW sheet metal parts.  The need for softaware to process flat patterns, bend sequence, nest parts etc.. has become apparant rather quickly.  We have seen demos of these 2 different softwares and they both seem good, and very similar.  From what I could tell, it seemed Radan was a little stronger in the nesting/water jet end and Metamation seemed stronger in the bending / flat pattern arena.

My question is this, has anyone used or currently using either of these softwares?  What are the pros and cons?  Does either take input from their customers for improvments on future releases (as SW does?).  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
