Im running latest SP of SW 2015.

When I try to measure minimum distance between parallel cylindrical faces, SW calculates the distance between the point that is farthest away from the minimum distance of one of the cylinder to the nearest point on the other cylinder. This also happens if I select the edge instead of the face. This way, SW gives the measurement minimum distance + diameter of the smaller cylinder.

Its a bit hard to explain, so please check out the attached screenshots. This is driving me nuts and any tips are appreciated.
