I needed to calculate the volume of a box to make sure it met UL requirements.

So, I created a quick assy of the top and bottom cover and then went to mass properties and looked at the volume.

The volume did not appear correct.

So, I ended up taking the internal measurements from face to face and calculating using height*length*width.  The difference was pretty substantial.  Because the numbers SolidWorks gave did not meet UL and my hand calculation did.

I am wondering if others have also experienced this...
