I have 500-600 standard drawings in Autocad. I am converting them over to SolidWorks. I created a design table and added the necessary dimensions. I can use "Config Ripper" to mass create the part files but I am left without drawings. We have a license of DriveWorks but it doesn't allow us to mass create these files. We would have to select each individual part and release them seperately. Once we do that, SolidWorks would mass create the drawings. The time consuming part is the DriveWorks parts of the process.
Is anyone aware of a better way to mass create drawings in a way that the dimensions show up consistantly. I have heard that we need to write a program to be able to do that. I have never written one so I would like to avoid that route if possible.
Thanks,
