Hi everyone,

We have PDFs created for all drawings via the task add-in. We have modified the script to use the second output path if a certain variable is found on the drawing data card. From when we had epdm 2011-2013 everything worked fine. But I noticed that all of our PDFs that were created after we upgraded to 2015 have no description or author populating on the data card.

When I search the forums, I find several questions about this from 2010-2012 that were all answered as "this feature is not possible", but we HAD it working (see attached screenshots). I know that variables can't be mapped to properties inside the PDF, but I know there is a way to map the data cards. I sent our .cex file to our VAR and was told that it worked just fine for them. They said they wanted to run some tests with us on my desktop, but then I never heard from them again (even when I call at least once a week)...it has been 2 months since they last responded.

These are the other questions regarding property mapping to PDFs.

If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.
