I am an IT server administrator, not a SolidWorks user. I am updating the Workgroup PDM (wPDM) Vault software. Before I do this, I am reviewing the server (which runs the SolidWorks Workgroup PDM Server service) and notice that there is a "_Temp/_transactions" subfolder in the "Vaultdata" folder. Inside the "Vaultdata/_TEMP/_transactions" folder are 1,625 files with Date Modified 2004-2005 (ten years ago). Filenames are all similar to "pdmwTransact_-1830425780_000000". I am wondering if this is orphaned transient data that can be deleted?  (There is also a "Vaultdata/_transactions" folder which is currently empty.)

Do current versions of SolidWorks wPDM Vault still use the _transactions folder?
