I saw that has macros assigned to Mouse Gestures at ​, and it occurred to me that it would be pretty handy to have one in the Part and Assembly environments that would set the model to Isometric, Save, and Close the file. I didn't want to highjack that Discussion, so I'm starting a new one.

I have only the vaguest notion of what macros do, and no idea at all how to create one, or get it onto a Mouse Gesture. If that idea is workable, and if this isn't asking too much, I'd appreciate it if someone could explain to me how to do it (using small words, and in painful detail).
