I would like to know if anybody has developed a Macro to do the following:

1.) Create a new layer called "Inspection Dim Locations"

2.) Either automatically number every dimension on the drawing or manually by clicking near each dimension to add numbers 1-999 (preferred is manual clicking). These added numbers would be on the seperate "Inspection Dim Locations" layer so it can be turned on and off without cluttering the drawing. I will then manually export the drawing with and without the dimension locations and combine as layers on a single PDF sheet. This is the ultimate goal... 1 PDF drawing with an inspection dim location layer that can be turned on and off.

3.) Export all dimensions on the sheet.

I found two macros that are both nice in their own regards but the manual one does not incrementally number and no export option and the other has the inspection locations embedded in the dimension (cannot turn on and off with layers). I attached both macros.
