Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can explain why my CPU speed is slow while generating surfaces in Scan to 3D. A specific example would be when extracting faces using the surface wizard in Scan to 3D. I noticed the CPU is only at 15-20% capacity. The RAM usage is also considerably low, 2-3 GB while extracting. I'm working with a 13KB .OBJ mesh file with 178,000 verticies and 357,392 triangles. Obviously that is alot of data to process, but I would expect my CPU to be maxed out during the process. I'm working with a 64 bit version of SW 2010, quad core processor, 8 GB of RAM, Nvidia quadro graphics card and 64 bit version of windows 7.
Thanks
