I have created a tapered helix (10 degrees outward) with a 1" pitch and 5 revolutions. I then created planes normal to each end of the helix. I placed a .1" on one plane and a .375" circle on the second plane. I added the pierce relationship so that each circle is positioned with its centerpoint at the end of the helix spiral. When attempting to loft these two profiles along the helix, I get a "Loft Operation Failed to Complete" error message. Even after fiddling with the various parameters, I can not get this to finish the lofting process. If I delete a plane/profile, the sweep command works fine. Any suggestions?
