I'm trying to create a truncated paraboloid surface using an equation driven curve and two circles. I want to use the equation driven curve as a guiding curve, and do a lofted boss/base between the circles.
Normally I would just revolve the equation driven curve for this, but I need the paraboloid to be hollow. I don't know of a way of doing this easily without creating a second equation driven curve and revolving them together. The end goal is to make a 2-3 ("nested") concentric paraboloids, and so having to make two curves for each paraboloid gets to be time intensive. I was hoping for a fast solution using Loft. Is that doable? See the attached.
