I'm having a problem with some of the cutlist properties for structural members in SW 2009 SP4.1. Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem and/or knows how to fix it.

When a cutlist item is created for a structural member, the following properties are included in the properties table (see fine art below):

LENGTH

ANGLE1

ANGLE2

We use the length property for the cutlists on our drawings. The problem is that none of the three can be editted in this version of solidworks. The "value/text expression" box can be changed, but when the window is closed and re-openned, the value resets.

We also can't delete any of these items out of the table.

The workaround we've got right now is to do the followng:

1. change the property name to something else from the dropdown box, ex. LENGTH to Finish

2. delete that property from the table, ex. select Finish and then hit the delete button

3. close properties table and reopen properties table

4. insert new property, "Length"

5. edit as needed

If anyone knows why this is happening or how to edit these properties, I'd love to hear it.

(Please no "you shouldn't be modifying that" responses)
