Hello,

I am currently working on a parametric assembly. This assembly is driven by a guide sketch part which determines the variable dimensions of all parts in the assembly.

Because the assembly/part drawings require our custom properties I would like to link certain properties of the assembly and parts to the guide sketch part.

I would like to refrain from using macro's because this would require more steps + human error.

Idealy I would like the assembly and parts custom property('s) to show the value given in the guide sketch part.

So far I haven't been able to find out any code/command to accomplish this kind of link reference.

For instance:

If I change the guide sketch part custom property "Client name" I would like the assembly and part property "Client name" to show the value given for the guide sketch part.

This would make my question:

"Is it possible to link assembly and/or part custom properties to that of another part(or assembly for that matter)?"
