I would imagine there are a number of different ways to approach this.  This is what I have.  A "length" custom property in my parts.  My parts have units set to 5 places which I don't want to change.  I have a drawing of the assy (it's a weldment, but not modeled as a SW weldment) with a BOM that has a "length" column that I've populated with the custom property "length."  The value shown is 5 places, which makes sense since that's what my part units are set at.  Is there a way to change the number of places shown on the BOM without changing my units in the parts?
