Hello,
Since I upgraded to SW2010 SP0 (from SW2009 SP3), everytime I change a layer for a particular part, the change spreads across all other views regardless of the other view's configuration.
Most parts that we send to a cutting table are made up of 2-3 configurations ("Default", "Cut Pattern" and "Flat Pattern" - if any bending is required). The drawings are made up of the 1 view with the cut pattern configuration set with the layer specific to the cutting operation (gas, plasma or laser) and the rest of the views under other configurations with no layer set (default). That way I would be able to directly export my drawing file into DXF to send directly to the shop without having to edit any layers via DWG editor.
Now with 2010, I still setup my drawings in the fashion but when I change the layer of a single view, it spreads to all other views (see attached pic).
