The box selection color for box selection versus section box selection has always been defined as blue and green. When dragging your box from left to right, you get a blue selection box and from right to left, you get a green box.

The same functionality works with lasso selection in 2014, where drawing to your left gives you the section selection, and drawing to the right gives you the normal box selection. However, the lasso line color does not change and is always blue regardless of which type of selection you are doing.

Since the behavior is the same as the box selection, it would be nice to see the color also behave the same too.
