In SW Premium 2016 SP5.0 (linear static simulation) the "large displacement" flag in the study properties is sometimes useful even though it prevents calculation of free-body forces.  This option appears not to be available in studies that include beams.  Am I doing something wrong?  Does this apply also to shells?  Is there a work-around (besides purchasing non-linear simulation)? -- John Willett
