Hi all!  It's been quite a while since I have been on the forum, nice to see most of the same people still helping solve problems.

Here's my question.

One of our application engineers (mostly works in controls) is looking to learn SW.  He's still an autocad guy it was easy for him since he does mostly electrical schematics , but ownership is requesting him to get familiar with SW.  He's looking to buy a personal laptop with either a GeForce  GT 410M or 540M.  Will either of these suffice?  He will not be doing anything complex and no large assemblies, just sort of getting his feet wet.  Like I said he's primarily buying it for personal use.
