hi everyone,

I’ve just bought a dell xps13, and I been experiencing lag issues in solidworks (student edition 2016/2017) such as  doing simple tasks such as opening a new part, sketching lines, selecting planes,  etc… I know my computer should be able to do those basic tasks since I have another laptop with the same specs, and it ran smoothed up to 30 parts. I tried reinstalling, modifying (going to programs, solidworks, modify, repair & update), tried solidworks 2016 and 2017), and factory resetting. I also installed Autodesk Inventor, and my computer runs smooth. Does anyone have any solutions to my lagging issues?
